Stayed at Zara hotel on May 7, 2011. As a woman traveling alone, this family owned hotel made me feel safe and comfortable. The hotel was old, but well kept, clean, friendly staff and in an excellent location. No safe available but my room had a space I could lock above the closet. All personnel were friendly and the desk provided me with a great map and ideas where to go as soon as I arrived. Good breakfast included. Definitely recommend/stay again. Take Leonardo Express from Airport for 14 Euro and it is 11 minute walk from Roma Termini. I passed by other similarly priced hotels I thought of staying at and was glad I chose this.
Hotel was old but this is typical for Central Rome. It is a very old city. Shower in bathroom wet entire floor, although a negative, everything else far outweighed this little inconvenience. For Rome it is a good value.
Great central location....easy walking distance to most of the main touristic sights.
Room was a bit small and walls are thin.
i liked staff and design
the staff was kind and helpfull. hotel is located perfekt in the heart of rome. very centralt to all sights.
Good value for money - friendly and helpful multi lingual staff - great location near Termini railway station and on bus routes. The continental breakfast was fine; maybe the coffee could have been hotter, but, so what - plenty places for hot coffee outside. The white registered taxis are also good value.
I was very happy to be there , it was a nice hotel , And clean I am very happy with the personnal of the hotel Zara
I didnt like the bathroom,
The value of money is a bit high for the facility itself
Close to everything, friendly staff, quiet and comfortable room.
Beds are confortable silent inside the hotel,
Close to Repubblica Metro and bus station.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was quiet (in the back). The bed was a decent size and firm, though the blankets lacked quality.
The bathroom fittings were antiquated and didn't work without difficulty. The continental breakfast was of poor quality.
The staff were great. Very friendly! Good value for money an great location
good value for a very short stay, and centrally located.
single rooms are tiny and a bit musty smelling.
The hotel is located it a very good spot, clost to the central station and close to everything around. 15 minute walk to the coloseum or pantheon and more. *wifi was great *mini fridge in the room + supermarket around the corner = WIN *staff was very helpful and friendly
*in general, old and small hotel, isn't best but pictures don't show the real place, and you are disapointed on arrival. *the room was described as qween+double 25M room, far from it 2+1 in a room the feels small, but it was ok. *you have a tv but it's on the table on the side... while having a perfect place on the closed fireplace. *basic breakfest (or just italian one) *small bathroom
Location.Front desk staff very helpful and kind
-The shower is extremely small,I could hardly move.the worst thing is that there is no barrier around shower and water of shower floods into the room -breakfast is a JOKE, it consists of juices and sweet cakes -air condition is weak and room is warm, sometimes it shuts down for several hours -elevator goes up to third floor -On the tv there ´re only italian channels
